We called on a Sunday while driving through Helena on vacation. Frederick had us come over and he ran quite a few tests. Put some additive in the gas tank and hardly charged us. What a refreshing experience with a repair shop. We highly recommend this business.

I was in a bind last weekend and decided to try QRF automotive since many other places were closed. My rear passenger window fell down, and would not roll back up on a very rainy weekend. They not only responded immediately with a quote to do the work, but they were able to fit me in the next morning. Fredric gave a ballpark estimate to complete the job of a few hours, but completed it way sooner than expected. Fredric took the time to explain exactly what was wrong, showed me the parts, and even took the time to clean up my temporary repair (gorilla tape residue on the inside of my window). I highly recommend QRF automotive.

Very kind and professional and did exactly as we asked. Mechanics always want to push you on more and more things that are wrong with your car and when we said this is all we want to know this is all we want fixed he did exactly as asked and when we asked him more questions about other things that we did not initially ask him for he had the answers ready for us but did not push anymore info than what we asked for. We ended up having him fix a lot more things than we came in there for because his prices were unbeatable, definitely top three lowest that ive ever seen. I will be returning for future vehicle repairs for all of my vehicle and i highly recommend them.

There needs to be a mechanic like this in every city in Montana! Finding an honest, fairly priced repair shop these days can be tough, but this place completely exceeded our expectations. Even though he runs the business out of his own property, he is 100% legitimate, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. We were in Helena on a fishing trip when our truck suddenly needed repairs so we could safely tow our boat back home to Billings. Not only did he answer our call, but he got us in at 9:30 PM on a Saturday night. That level of dedication and customer service is almost unheard of anymore. He worked quickly, explained everything clearly, and had us back on the road without making us feel taken advantage of. On top of that, he has two amazing support pups in the shop that made the whole stressful situation so much better — seriously, pet therapy at its finest! If you live in Helena or have family and friends there, I cannot recommend this shop enough. Honest, trustworthy, fast, fairly priced, and genuinely caring. We are beyond grateful for the help and will absolutely use him again if we’re ever in the area!

A place I’ll go for as long as I stay in the area! As an AmeriCorps member that’s 1,300 miles away from my family, it can feel overwhelming to find a mechanic that will not just get you back on the road but ensure you can trust them with their commitment to quality and service. Fredric’s the best out there! He walked me through each step of my hub assembly replacement, was extremely fair in price and quote, and turned a stressful situation into an easy one with some humor. Also probably the cutest dogs. My family is so thankful, and I’ll be back for any future issues!
